Writer’s Quote Wednesday – Cory Booker

This week has been like Christmas week for me.  I started out the week watching a live podcast on Sunday from the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate of Getting to the Point with Senator Cory Booker and yesterday was Super Tuesday.  And, let’s not forget the Republican debate tomorrow night.

If you’ve read my About Me page, it should come as no surprise that I was up well past midnight texting with friends also caught up in the races held on Super Tuesday.  There were really no surprises except maybe that Marco Rubio finally won a state (Minnesota where Trump came in third) and what came out of candidates mouths after the votes were counted.

Did I ever miss the boat when selecting a career; I paid little to no attention to the clues of my childhood.  The likes and dislikes of my childhood were like breadcrumbs left on the path to happiness and I pretty much ignored them throughout my early career leaving things to chance. Last week was an annoying week for no major reasons other than that the intrinsic failings of people and technology collided together to annoy the bejesus out of me. A perfect storm, if you will. Frustrated, I sat in front of my laptop to tackle what can be a simple task – selecting the blog or blogs I wanted to feature in my weekly (well supposed to be weekly) Follow Friday post. I intended to select a blog that featured posts on blogging tips. However, when I opened up my WordPress reader I was led to someone who speaks my language – no not Orkan or even English but sarcasm.
