On Sunday, I watched a live podcast from the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate of Getting to the Point with Senator Cory Booker, the junior Senator from New Jersey. Like many Americans, this American election cycle has left me feeling despair over the future direction of our country. Since today is Washington’s Birthday or Presidents’ Day as it has become widely known it seems appropriate to turn to the words of American Presidents for motivation and inspiration this week. I’ve included quotes from former Presidents to collectively provide us motivation.
This week’s Monday motivation comes from legendary Green Bay Packers head coach Vince Lombardi. It seems fitting to turn to Lombardi for motivation this week after all yesterday was Super Bowl 50 and the illustrious Lombardi Trophy was awarded to the Denver Broncos.
